Q 1: Is my credit card information secure?
A 1: At the point of entering your credit card details, you will be redirected to our bank's site (ANZ) which is secured. You will notice a padlock icon in your browser status bar. Further information on our privacy policy .
Q 2: Will I have problems with goods being delivered because of where I live?
A 2: We will endeavor to deliver direct to your home* or business. If delivery is difficult due to remote areas or security buildings we can make alternate arrangements that will suit your requirements. Just let us know your requirements and we are confident that we can deliver.
*In remote locations you may have to pick up the goods from the post office in the nearest town.
Q 3: Is there a separate charge for delivery?
A 3: Yes, there is a freight charge and it varies depending on where you live. Freight costs are included in for items delivered in Australia. An email will be sent to you advising of any overseas charges. Magazine subscriptions have separate schedule based on location of delivery.
Q 4: How long does it take for my goods to arrive?
A 4: After receipt of your details and order, deliveries take anywhere between 5 to 10 days on average, depending on where you live. Overseas areas may take longer.
Q 5: Can I get a refund?
A 5: We only refund if the goods are faulty. Refund excludes cost of freight.
Q 6 : Will my membership automatically be renewed each year?
A 6 : No, we will remind you in advance so you won't miss out on any of the Tasting Selections, social events, the magazine or great members' specials! We can't automatically re-bill your credit card because we we do not store that information for security reasons.
Q 7: I live in a unit and can't have it delivered to my home, where else can you deliver it to?
A 7: We can deliver your goods to your place of work. Alternatively we can request that Australia Post leave a calling card and you can arrange to pick up your wines at a time convenient to you.
Q 8: Where are you based, where will my product come from?
A 8: Winestate is based in South Australia and distributes all products from SA.
Q 9: Can I purchase using US dollars or other currency?
A 9: All transactions are done in Australian dollars (AU$). If you use an overseas credit card your bank will apply the current conversion rate at the time of purchase. Please contact your bank for details about the rate.
