TEMPTING TASTES OF ORANGE

THE ORANGE region of Central Western New South Wales probably has more wine and food festivals than any district of a comparable size - and makes sure that its dates are announced well in advance, unlike several other festivals. Jane Arnott from Taste Orange confirms dates for the next 12 months are: Frostfest: August 1-9; Orange Wine Week: October 16-25; Slow Summer: February 5-15, 2010; and Orange FOOD Week: April 9-18, 2010. The winemakers of Orange will also hit Sydney for Orange at Bondi Beach, a series of wine and food events, from August 24-30, with the climax the Taste Orange Sunday wine and food fair at the Bondi Beach Pavilion.
